They certainly did BUT Theo who runs MacGenie told me it may be a problem with the phone not the battery and encouraged me to contact the retailer rather than pay him to fit a battery because it was within 12 month warranty.
I did so and 5 days later my phone was returned with a brand new battery on warranty - No charge
Theo could have just sold me a battery but he is a professional with years of experience and puts the customer first.
If you haven’t used MacGenie before and need an IT hardware or software issue looking at I strongly recommend you call Theo first !
Fantastic service and I now know where to go.

9 January, 2020 Rarely do I rate anything 5 stars but the experience of dealing with Theo has been first class. Not only has he fixed an issue with my macbook that has had me beaten for months but he has improved the performance of it more than I thought possible for a machine 8 years old.

LIFE SAVERS. I’m the clumsy sort and dropped my MacBook Laptop down a staircase, needless to say it wouldn’t even turn on. I contacted Mac Genie in the desperate hope of getting it so I could turn it on to recover my work (yes I know I didn’t back up) and when it came back not only would it turn on, it had been physically repaired also. Great communication and service, would definitely recommend.
