They certainly did BUT Theo who runs MacGenie told me it may be a problem with the phone not the battery and encouraged me to contact the retailer rather than pay him to fit a battery because it was within 12 month warranty.
I did so and 5 days later my phone was returned with a brand new battery on warranty - No charge
Theo could have just sold me a battery but he is a professional with years of experience and puts the customer first.
If you haven’t used MacGenie before and need an IT hardware or software issue looking at I strongly recommend you call Theo first !
Fantastic service and I now know where to go.

10 July, 2020 I 100% recommend Theo !! he is professional at anything he does, he’s that sort of bloke.... go big or go home.... I had a problem with a Facebook Wi-fi network at my shop, he came out and sorted it. I’m very grateful to him. I know a little bit but he’s my go to man for anything technical. Definitely the best in his field in the area 👍👍

29 December, 2020 - I would highly recommend Mac Genie Computers. A very efficient service. He diagnosed an Xbox problem and gave sound advice regarding the cost effectiveness of repair against replacement.
He also repaired an IPad at a very fair price.

19 October, 2020LIFE SAVERS. I’m the clumsy sort and dropped my MacBook Laptop down a staircase, needless to say it wouldn’t even turn on. I contacted Mac Genie in the desperate hope of getting it so I could turn it on to recover my work (yes I know I didn’t back up) and when it came back not only would it turn on, it had been physically repaired also. Great communication and service, would definitely recommend.

I was very satisfied with the service and Theo's knowledge and expertise was incredibly helpful as I was able to make a good decision to get the right parts at an affordable price for my budget. I can't thank Theo enough for his hard work and staying late on a Friday night so that I could get back to work straight away. I did not expect this and I was very happy and surprised to get a message saying it was ready on the Saturday morning. 1 June, 2021 - Brilliant speedy service. I contacted Mac genie computers yesterday about a new battery for my iphone. I got an instant reply with a quote and advised they could fit a new battery the next day within 30mins while I waited.
Today I called In had a super cup of Yorkshire tea and within 20mins my battery was fitted. Job done!
I would highly recommend their services.
