They certainly did BUT Theo who runs MacGenie told me it may be a problem with the phone not the battery and encouraged me to contact the retailer rather than pay him to fit a battery because it was within 12 month warranty.
I did so and 5 days later my phone was returned with a brand new battery on warranty - No charge
Theo could have just sold me a battery but he is a professional with years of experience and puts the customer first.
If you haven’t used MacGenie before and need an IT hardware or software issue looking at I strongly recommend you call Theo first !
Fantastic service and I now know where to go.

19 February, 2021 Would highly recommend Mac Genie, took in an Iphone7 with a very badly smashed screen and a battery that needed charging constantly. Just a few hours later and the phone is like new, its fully repaired with a new screen, a new battery and a years warranty. Fantastic local business every one should try to support

23 December, 2019Apple wanted to charge me £650.00 to replace my logic board after i spilled coffee on my Macbook Pro, Mac Genie repaired my original logic board and it only cost me £255.00. Had my laptop back in 4 days, thank you guys you saved me a lot of money.

14 November, 2019 MacBook battery swollen and distorting the chassis. Battery replaced, dust removed and chassis re-aligned (no charge for the chassis work). All done in good time and good advice received about battery usage.
