They certainly did BUT Theo who runs MacGenie told me it may be a problem with the phone not the battery and encouraged me to contact the retailer rather than pay him to fit a battery because it was within 12 month warranty.
I did so and 5 days later my phone was returned with a brand new battery on warranty - No charge
Theo could have just sold me a battery but he is a professional with years of experience and puts the customer first.
If you haven’t used MacGenie before and need an IT hardware or software issue looking at I strongly recommend you call Theo first !
Fantastic service and I now know where to go.

I had a problem with my Macbook Pro that had previously been looked at by another company un-successfully I found Theo on Google "Mac repairs near me" Theo is living and working in Kirby Hill. He sorted out my problem within one hour being a Mac trained technician,
I would advise anyone who has a Mac to make a note of Mac Genie Computers, John Ellis Industrial Kirby Hill Boroughbridge.

7 August, 2020 Rarely do I rate anything 5 stars but the experience of dealing with Theo has been first class. Not only has he fixed an issue with my macbook that has had me beaten for months but he has improved the performance of it more than I thought possible for a machine 8 years old.

He also repaired an IPad at a very fair price.
